Banner 9 Upgrade Reminder

On October 14th, Banner will receive an upgrade to the latest version called Banner 9.  Banner will be unavailable between 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM on October 14th for the upgrade.

The Banner 9 upgrade will provide users with the following:

Features/Enhancements

  • Improved appearance and accessibility
  • Navigation Changes
  • Additional internet browser support (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, MS Edge)
  • Eliminate Java applets
  • Mobile friendliness

Training Materials

To prepare for this upgrade, online videos and webinars were created and shared with users.  If you missed any of the Banner 9 training opportunities that were shared with users over the last month, they can be found on our website: UIC HR Banner 9 Support

Support

We will be offering an Online Lab for Banner 9 Upgrade – HR Forms Only on October 18th from 2:00 PM – 3:00 PM.  Register

This lab will allow users to ask questions regarding the HR Pages in Banner 9.  Space for the lab is limited, so please consider attending as a group and sharing your screen with others.
