In conjunction with the GEO, the University has authorized 14 additional days of paid sick leave to any GEO bargaining unit member who is diagnosed with COVID-19. Bargaining unit members may use the additional 14 days for their family members diagnosed with COVID-19 as well. GEO members must provide medical documentation to their supervisor to qualify for this leave. Departments should track this leave usage in accordance with existing procedures for tracking of sick time allocated as part of the GEO contract.
