Dear HR Network:
You are required to display mandatory employment posters in each building and facility where the posters are readily visible to employees and applicants for employment. UIC HR updates official HR boards on campus each year.
New Poster
Please ensure you are displaying the following poster that was revised in August 2017:
This Organization Participates in E-Verify (English/Spanish) – this single poster contains both the English and Spanish text combined onto one poster. This single poster replaces the previous two separate English and Spanish language “Notice of E-Verify Participation/Enrollment” posters.
Please note, you are still required to display the two separate E-Verify “Right to Work” posters in English and Spanish, which has not changed. You will now display three E-Verify posters rather than four.
Check existing posters
There are several mandatory state and federal posters that must be displayed in each building. Posters are added and revised from year to year, so please ensure you are displaying the most recent versions. Most posters are available on the University’s Virtual Poster Site. The list may not be exhaustive, as additional postings may be required depending on your specific discipline.
What about remote (off campus) work locations?
Faculty and staff located in remote work locations must have access to the required state and federal employment posters as well. Ensure the posters are displayed in any off-campus work locations. If this is not practical because the remote workers are not located in a physical building, or are in mobile or temporary quarters, then please provide them a link to the Virtual Poster Site.
