SEIU Service Processing Update

In preparation for the implementation of the third year of the SEIU Service Bargaining Agreement, UIC Human Resources will be updating job records in Banner using an effective date of 10/04/2017. This will represent the start of the third year of the Service contract. Due to this update, we ask that all transactions for the BW 21 pay period covering the time period of 09/24/2017-10/07/2017 be processed in HR Front End (HRFE) no later than Tuesday, September 26, 2017.
When processing HRFE transactions for SEIU Service classifications that are effective dated 9/24/2017, please use the Salary Group 2018A for the current year rates. For transactions effective dated after 10/4/2017, please use the Salary Group 2018B which coincides with the new rates for the third year of the contract.
