The Employee Recognition Award Ceremony is a University-wide event where we come together as a community to honor the dedication and commitment of UIC employees.
Merit awards presented during the ceremony include: Award of Merit (AOM), Chancellor’s Academic Professional Excellence (CAPE), Rising Star Award, and Janice Watkins Award.
Employees celebrating the following service year milestones are recognized at the event 25, 30, 35, 40, 45, 50, and 55 years.
