Payroll and Financial Services
The Office of Business and Financial Services (OBFS) oversees payroll and payment to the University of Illinois employees on all three campuses, including UIC, through the University Payroll Customer Service Center. OBFS provides guidance on how to process pay adjustments, troubleshooting Banner (payroll system) error messages, and financial processes.

Campus Safety
Emergency call boxes referred to as Startels are located throughout the campus. Press the red button on the Starlet to connect to UIC Police immediately.
Call UIC Police at (312) 355-5555 if you have an emergency on Campus or witness suspicious activity. Please note this number in your cell phone.

Dining on Campus

UIC Children’s Center
The UIC Children’s Center provides a full-day early childhood education program for preschool children of UIC students, faculty, and staff.

Sustainability
The sustainability unit within the Office of Planning, Sustainability and Project Management sets forth the university’s sustainability goals outlined in the UIC Climate Commitments and executed via the Climate Action Implementation Plan under the guidance of the Chancellor’s Committee on Sustainability and Energy.
